Loki episode 2 ending explained: how the final scene turns the Disney Summation show on its head

The Loki episode 2 ending marks a definitive shift in the Disney Plus show. Not only has a baddie been revealed – the identity of which is very much TBC, as you'll soon discover – but a major program has been set into motion that could have serious aftershocks in the MCU-at-large.

Who is Dame Loki?

The identity operator of the Loki 'Variant' has been unconcealed. Maybe.

At the end of the sequence, the hooded figure who had been possessing citizenry and running demoniacal everywhere from 1980s Renaissance fairs to the non-overly-distant future was finally unmasked: a blonde cleaning woman, played aside Sophia Di Martino, is seen with a familiar looking horny helmet and dissemble.

This could follow Lady Loki, a character from the comics who – in the pages of Marvel's works – is really Loki inhabiting a woman's body. This variance on Walter Elias Disney Plus is an entirely spic-and-span character and could be hinting at a multiverse of characters all similar by nature but unique in their own way.

It would certainly come up with the different 'type' of Loki that has been causing chaos. Earlier in the episode, we caught a glimpse of other different Lokis, from a Troll Loki to what looks to be a Loki as a professional cyclist. Is Lady Loki just other 'flavor' of Loki that's been lengthways around?

Maybe non. **Latent spoilers for future episodes** The end credits have revealed that Sophia Di Martino's character is actually titled "Sylvie" – which could make up a reference to comic reference Sylvie Lushton, AKA The Enchantress. If that's the case, that would miserly there mightiness still be another Loki Discrepancy out there causing mischief and victimization Sylvie as a means to an end.

Lady Loki's powers: is she possessing people?

Passim the sequence, Lady Loki (we'll keep calling her that until we officially hear otherwise in the show) is seen possessing people Vermilion Witch-style with just a hint of the hands. Possession might just be matchless aspect of her skillset. Expect the likes of illusion, enchantment, and more mind command to issue forth.

Lady Loki's plan: timeline bombs and Reset Charges

Lady Loki already has i trick. In sequence 2's final moments, her first grand scheme starts resonating: a series of Reset Charges are arranged around Roxxcon's store floor and occupied with some sort of swirling purple energy. Then, they are each lay out direct a portal vein.

So, what happened? For the moment, the specifics are perplexing but the general consensus is Lady Loki's plan is designed to cause equally a lot chaos As possible and to throw the Time Keepers' vision into disarray. Loki, of path, values chaos over order.

By putting Readjust Charges into different periods in account, it appears to cause havoc with the main 'Tabu Timeline'.
